Ok, I'm no real fan of LOST, I kinda get err Lost in the plot, with all these flash backs and forward it's almost as bad as trying to explain the theory of relativity, at least that makes sense to me. It's all relative to a certain point in time and time is changeable, it's the speed of light that's constant... see there, I'm confused now. It's not time that's constant, it's the speed and mass squared that gives you the energy. the famous E=MC². What the hell that has to do with LOST, I don't know, just that it's all relative to some point in one persons mind and is set to confuse you.

Not much to say today, but it's London, It's June and it's raining... This can only mean one thing!
Yes, Wimbledon has started! Why can't they chose another month? August would be better? but then we might have the same issue, It's August, In London and It's Raining, Hey, must be Wimbledon!

So, Tim Henman will not be winning this year, less likely now than before, why? his only getting older and so the young blood comes in and will beat the crap out of him.

Who will win? No idea, but some one will win and all the rest will lose. simple and easy tip.

Well I do, to a point. Some you see around are just plain daft.

8 settings?  alters the taste of Brandy? The only thing I think this is really useful for is its pourer and that's what I really think is all what it is, a nice glorified pourer.

Other things it claims it does, is change a VSOP brandy to an XO brandy, like change water into wine then? It is just before the England v Brazil match. Ronaldinho goes into the Brazilian changing room to find all his team mates looking a bit glum.
"What's up?" he asks.

"Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only England. They're sh*te and we can't be bothered."

Ronaldinho looks at them and says, "Well, I reckon I can beat them by myself-you lads go down the pub."

So Ronaldinho goes out to play England by himself and the rest of the Brazilian team go off for a few jars.

After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so they get the landlord to put the teletext on. A big cheer goes up as the screen reads "Brazil 1 - England 0 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes)". He is beating England all by himself!

A few pints later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers, "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on." They put the teletext on.

"Result from the Stadium 'Brazil 1 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes) - England 1 (Lampard 89 minutes)."

They can't believe it; he has single-handedly got a draw against England!!

They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate Ronaldinho. They find him in the dressing room, still in his gear, sitting with his head in his hands.

He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down."

"Don't be daft, you got a draw against England, all by yourself. And they only scored at the very, very end!"

"No, no, I have, I've let you down...I got sent off after 12 minutes."

On of those days, not quiet hot, not quiet cold, have I missed the summer? I woke up this morning, the tree outside my window was blowing to the horizontal, the leaves being blown all over the place. I couldn't have slept that long? It felt like autumn except that the leaves were green.  That's my adventure of waking up this morning. Phew at least it's still June so says my calender on my PC. If the PC says it's June, June it is!

Ok, darn quick entry , Theme changed back to what it was before, having too many problems with IE (Internet Exploder, Exploited, Explosive etc) So hopefully I will be able to work on it ASAP, but am at the moment working on a project that is so hush hush that I'll hush up about it for the timebeing. (anyone mentions it will be barred!)

So, other than that, what's up, I'm as I type being a patient or pretent patient for Doctors who are training to become better doctors. Some I can see will make good progress and may end up being great ones.Other,  I don't or won't want to meet in A&E (ER for US speakers) even if I was out for the count. Others, you wonder how the hell did they get that far.

Anyway, they haven't been around for a while, maybe they have forgotten that I'm here? Stanger things have happened to me in Hospitals... but that's another story.

The sun is out Woot, I can see it through a sun roof... nice aircon this time round, so I won't melt!

It's been a few days, but yes Ingerland won on Saturday, but that was thanks to an own goal by the opposing side. So my wish for the UK to win for that one and only reason is looking slightly shaky .. But hey miracle  can happen. They still have 2 more matches to win. So finger crossed.

Other than that, I've been busy helping Blairwatch migrate their site upto a newer build of Dripal. It was good fun in a geeky sort of way, Puzzling as to why something wouldn't work and having to resorting to RTFM  which was enlightening. Problems sorted themselves out after a good cuppa, for me that's coffee, the normal folk in the UK that's Tea. Tea tastes like used washing up water. Yucky. can't really understand why people drink it, but they do.  So after the coffee, the brain being suitably woken up and put on speed, things seemed to become clear.

So, Blairwatch is now up and running on their new software, trimmed and all CSS'ed up.

Back to my site, yep, some of you who use Internet Explorer will find that it's a bit slow, I mean slow, even on Broadband, to load up. I'm investigating why this is happening, but my guess is, yes, It's and Internet Explorer problem not being fully compatible with the latest standards in CSS website presentation. So, I'm perfecting my skills in CSS and IE workarounds. The workarounds only on till IE 7 hits the streets in August

Yep, in 24hrs all your TV schedule is going to go tits up. Tomorrow is the start of one of the worlds biggest sporting event, I say one of them as you don't get all countries taking part, you know, like the Olympics?
The FIFA world cup is upon us. Tomorrow all the fun and games start, parties will go on all night for the winning teams, and well, loads of tears for the losing ones, yes, some one has to win and someone has to loose. I don't give too hoots about political correctness. If you get less goals than the other team, you lose, none of this you didn't pass the goal stuff, you failed, your a looser, hopeless nitwit etc.
Got that off my chest, I don't like PC terms, they are so stupid and are mainly made by people who live in an office with no windows and unfortunately they do have a door, can someone lock that door and get rid of the key ?
Ok, so this year we have a sporting chance of winning (that's the England team) we have our Tall man , Mr Crouch who is nearly 7foot tall.. (is he in the wrong sport? Basketball would have been better?) We have the two strikers, Mr M Owen, and Mr W. Rooney (his foot is now fine, but if he should be tackled badly, he may be injured again and that would be that) nice idea to tell the opposing team your weakness isn't it... But there you go.
I would like the England team to win for one reason only... so that the media will shut the Feck up about ... In 1966 when we won the world cup speil Look guys that was 40 years ago ... on 36 years ago since you last had it. That's over 1 generation!

SO, England to WIN.... Only so that they don't keep reminding me how old I am!

Oh and by the way, the clever clots at Microsoft have made a nice application so that you can keep track of where your team is have created their Football Scoreboard. You can download it from here. It's a 1.1MB file so it shouldn't take long to download. Just unzip and run the program.

A week ago, George W Bush proposed a motion to ban same sex marriages to Congress, the  was to amend the constitution to make same sex marriages illegal. Luckily it didn't get past the first hurdle. only 48 senators voted for it, there is a requirement to have 60 to allow the motion to be carried forward.
Quite frankly I don't know where the stupid prat gets the motion that the requirement of a Man & a Women was the best for a child's up keep and support. How about all those single parents, Male or female? What's more important is that the child has an emotionally secure home, we they a protected and helped to learn to survive, protected from abuse, some husband and wife relationships don't offer either...
I like the line, Ages of Experience... I think his parents were OK, but I don't think that the Bush family can lecture us on producing stable children, after all, didn't George get involved with booze and drugs as a young man? His own children have a history of drink and bad behaviour.
So lets hope that this motion will never make it through during the time of this administration. I applaud the 'activist' Keep it up and let sanity reign.

06/06/06 Ok, not quite the 666 but almost there... Will have to wait till later today to see if it is a Hell Of A day!

More tweaking of my blog software. The original theme I am using was done by Mads Sigvert from EvilSun Top
The original theme didn't work on firefox, so I had a look at the css file, being new to css but having a very good idea how it all works and how it glues together I managed to fix it.
Today, well yesterday, I have updated the theme a little bit more again, this time all I added was a tab bar on top of the page I'll try and finish of the theme, tidy it up and may release it for other to grab.
All comments on the theme are most welcome.
