Mar 29: I'm a Glowing in the dark
Ok that I can't prove just yet, as it's still daytime here so I will have to wait till 6pm or there abouts when it is dark. OK, you ask why are you glowing in the dark ? Well My adventures with untried medical machines I was on my hospital getting a bone scan. You see (from previous comments) being a transplant patient for coming on 30 years and in that time have been taking steroids, (fantastic medicines, but boy oh boy, you really have to watch what you eat, as there is no stopping you, those ea- all-you-can for a fiver resturants are your best friend, but theywill never what you back). Having come of the buggers, that's the steroids, did I say they were great meds? Oh yes they are, they hide all forms of things from you so when you get off them your suddenly either mad or in a lot of pain, the latter being my case.
A bone scan sort of looks like this:
Obviously, these pics aren't mine (you can click on the image for more info on the whys, the hows it's all done) but I did ask if I could get them. Not being morbid or anything, I just found it incredibaly interesting.
There are two reasons why I had the scan, firstly to see of there is a presence of an infection (yuck) or an un-explained pain.
That's all done, so tonight I will check if I'm a glowing or not.

Geezzz .. that's all very serious !! How are you now?? Any better ??? Did the scan prove helpful??

For the time being, they don't know ... someone who can read those pix needs to tell some other doc who know human speak to tell me?!
That'll be in 2 weeks... So far, I'm doing OK, and playing the waiting game. Used to that
