Mar 16: Somebody Forgot To Tell

Somebody forgot to tell these poor plants that spring has been delayed this year. It's been delayed to am late April? I don't know, I'm guessing as it's darn freezing cold here. This morning it hit a high of 2oC when I went out for a walk at 9am (Daft idea I know). It's now 13:40 and the temp hasn't got any higher. (3oC) Brrrr

Below nice picks of those unfortunate flowers, I don't know if they are still there today...


But then again, I took the pictures the other day, but still!

tracie b.i hope they survived! did you know that plants start budding in the spring in response to the legthening days and prolonged sunlight, and not to the temp? i always thought it was the temperature. i guess that's why some of these poor little plants get mislead.
