Mar 22: Shaggy Blog Story
Well today was a busy day at the office, network stuff not working, testing other network type stuff, but the wrong lights go on. There were supposed to be 4 green ones, I didn't get that combination, I got Orange, Green, No light, and red. So, either some one is playing games. or this is knackeard, I'm sure I shall find out tomorrow. I ran away from the office on noticing these lights... Not a good sign. I gets home... There is a brown package waiting for me. It's from the UK, I wonder who's sent me something? Then I remember Lulu, Yes, my copy of Shaggy blog stories has arrived. You want evidence? OK, Photo below.

Mar 11: Playing with Vista
Yep, a very short review on Vista. Not that I have bought it or anything, or that I have it on my main PC. I have a copy as I was testing it. So the copy I have will run out sometime in June. Even by then, I don't think I'll be getting it.
You may have noticed TV/Newspaper/Poster ads that go on about the WOW that people will will say when they first see/use it for the first time. I certainly didn't say that when I first saw it. It was more wow crap! Oh you want to see some of those ads?
Here's some from Waterloo Station London: (source)
Bleedin' dull you have to agree.
One of the much vaunted features is the parental control. So I had a look and well, it was kinda funny and you would wonder who was involved in the request. Check out the image...
Rather amusing don't you think?
Anyway, if you do decide to take the jump to Vista, my suggestion is, don't, well not now anyway, I would wait till the first service pack is out. Otherwise stay with your XP.
If your a MAC user and have one of those INTEL based ones, I'm sure Vista will work on that in the not too distant future with Bootcamp 2.
If you want more info on Vista clicky here.
Mar 10: The Web and US
Thinking of the net, internet when it was young, there wasn't much one could do. you could write a basic HTML page, it went nowhere really.. It was when you started linking that things started to get interesting. I wont go into too much detail. However, the video below says what I would have said, but much better.
Rather interesting no?
Mar 8: While on a train yesterday
I've joined the commuting crowd going from London to where I work. I take a train to get there, not a bad service I have to add, with a train every 12 mins there abouts. I tend to target on train, if I miss that one, I can catch the next one safely in the knowledge that I will still be on time at the office.
Anyway, being on these trains, one starts to notice odd and strange things, like signage, yes, signs that point you in the wrong direction. Not only is the signage out, but the toilets are in a rather odd place. In most trains I've been on, the toilets are located away from the seats at the end of the carriage. In these trains they are located amongst the seating, very odd indeed. Back to that confusing signage. Not only are the toilets amongst the but the signs telling you where they are are all wrong. Check out the image below...
There you go, I bet the right authorities have been notified but due to not having enough money, they can't be bothered to change it.
Mar 1: Funny Clouds
On the way to work this morning, I had a terrible feeling of being watched. Not watched by the usual CCTV cameras, to which I know at least 50 or more will have watched me go from my home, to the underground, back up, through the train station and onto a train to work. This was bigger, something celestial was keeping and eye on me. I could think what it was, till I saw it, yep, there it was, a lone cloud in the sky watching me as a I was almost at the office.. I managed to capture this on camera... See for yourself... Most remarcable.
Tis lookin' back at ya....
